Ever-flowing blessings

I received a huge yellow envelope in the mail today. On the top left of it says Monash University. I got excited, because I wasn't expecting any mail from the university. I tore it up and to my surprise, I was awarded another scholarship! This time it's the Faculty of Medicine International Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2007. How awesome is that!! Thank you Lord!! The scholarship pays for my tuition, which is currently being paid by the Department of Medicine. Any scholarship is good ey!

Today is exactly 7 days before we leave for Malaysia and South Korea. We're looking forward to this holiday, although it'd only be a very short 2.5-week break. Don't ask why. Josh and Audrey will be travelling with us this time and they will also be visiting South Korea, along with my brother, Aaron. It's going to be their first trip there and my second. It's currently winter in South Korea and temperatures drop below freezing point, so we have to make sure we bundle up really well... brrrr~ We've even bought thermal body wear for ourselves, afterall something is better than nothing in temperatures like this! I reckon it's going to be a fun trip though, with the new company :) Yay! Can't wait!

I really should start listing down the things that I haven't bought for mom and more importantly, the things that I HAVE BOUGHT and needs special packaging due to their fragility. Yes, I have several porcelain tableware that needs to be bubblewrapped and checked-in. I hope they won't crack when the luggage is being thrown right, left, and center in the cargo, albeit the obviously "FRAGILE" sign on both sides of my luggage :]

We'd like to congratulate Michael Sng & Susanna Tju on their marriage last Saturday, Jan 6, 2007! Such a lovely couple. We didn't get to witness and celebrate their union, which was held in M'sia. I'm sure it was wonderful though! I think we're the only unmarried couple in our Life Group (or Cell Group as most people know it as) besides Grace and Ken who will be starting a long-distance relationship when Grace goes to Singapore in February to start her very first job! Don't ask - Oh you know what I mean! I'll make sure you'll be the first to know when it happens :) It'll be lavish and extravagant, well at least that's what I hope for *hehe*.

Alrighty, time for a hot shower. Don't peek, naughty *winks* A bubble bath would be nice, but Victoria's currrently in Stage 3 water restriction, so maybe next time ey.
