Happy New Year!

Blessed 2008 everyone!!! Did you see the fireworks at the Sydney Harbour?? It was spectacular! It was 42 degrees celcius on New Year's Eve and we had BBQ with friends to welcome in the New Year. Are we crazy or what? BBQ-ing in 42 degrees of heat. The guys ended up cooking the meat while the girls stayed in-door with air-con... hahaha Anyway, it's been a very eventful 2007. Pray that God's grace will be upon all of us this new year. I don't have a New Year's resolution. I don't normally make one, but this year I HOPE I'll get good results for my research and finish my PhD! Speak to y'all soon! All the best throughout the new year and may God continue to guide us through all that we'll be going facing in 2008!

New Hairdo

I know it's been ages since I last posted!! But last week I decided to crop my hair!!! I think the last time I had my hair this short was 10-11 years ago :) Feels good to hair short hair. Feels different. Hehe Hope you like it!!

It's Spring!

Hi all!
Birthday was wonderful! We went out for dinner at a seafood restaurant, which served snow crab... Yummylicious. Bourne Ultimatum was awesome!!!!! You have to watch it!

I'm currently preparing for a presentation on Wednesday, 19th Sept. I hate presentations. I get cold feet. I lose my appetite. My temperature drops and I feel very, very cold. I showed my slides to my Professor today and he wants me to add a couple more slides and run through it with him on Monday. So I'm going to finalize my slides and my 'script' this weekend. Giving a presentation is just like acting; you need a script first before interpreting it visually. The seminar goes for 1 hour... where the first quarter is lunch. Yes, lunch is served before the seminar. And the speaker is required to talk for at least 30 minutes. So I hope I could speak for at least that long :D
